Blog reviewing books for boys. I am hoping this blog will inspire my students to read more and maybe get them interested in writing their own reviews. It's called The Last Word because I usually like to read the last few words of a book, first, and I always like to have the last word when I am talking about books.
I Have read both in the past year, and, I found the Outsisders to be more enjoyable. Both are very well-written, but I felt more connected to ponyboy and even some of the outsiders's minor characters than Bryon or Mark.
I have read both, That was Then This is now, and it doesn't even come close to touching, The outsiders Chris Phillips I completely disagree with you ... try to prove me wrong.
Although a little late, I agree with Ms. Guiney. WHAT IN THE WORLD R U TALKING ABOUT!!! the outsiders was an amazing book. I liked the gangs, plot, characters, and the conflict. AMAZING BOOK
